Marcela Weyhmiller

Marcela Weyhmiller is an Applications and Regulatory Scientist at Magnetic Insight, Inc. since January 2022. Previously, Marcela held various positions at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland from January 2014 to December 2021, culminating in the role of Director of the Iron Overload Program, where responsibilities included managing financial, research, clinical, technical, and administrative aspects. Additional experience at Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute involved roles as Assistant Clinical Scientist, Program Coordinator for the Iron Overload Program, and Staff Research Associate II, focusing on clinical studies and laboratory management. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
