Richard Rapoza

Richard Rapoza, PhD, currently serves as the DVP of Global Research and Development at Abbott Vascular, a position held since 2021. They have extensive experience in the medical device industry, having previously held significant roles at Guidant, including Manager of R&D for coronary stents and Director of R&D. Richard also worked as the VP of Operations at Guidant-Endovascular Solutions from 2004 to 2006. Their academic background includes a business degree from the University of California, Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business, obtained between 1995 and 1997.
