Subbu Raman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supplier quality management and engineering within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as a Senior Supplier Quality Manager at Abbott since February 2020, Subbu oversees a team ensuring compliance in the manufacturing of complex medical devices, achieving significant quality improvements. Prior roles include Supplier Quality Area Manager at KONE, where Subbu implemented auditing programs that substantially enhanced supplier quality and reduced product launch time and warranty claims, as well as Quality & Lean Six Sigma Manager at IFS Coatings, where Subbu realized major cost savings through scrap reduction and predictive maintenance initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.
