Thomas Nisslein

Thomas Nisslein possesses extensive experience in the field of pharmacovigilance and medical safety, currently serving as Head of Global Pharmacovigilance and EU QPPV at Abbott since 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing the benefit-risk profile for a segment of the company's portfolio. Prior to Abbott, Thomas Nisslein held the position of Head of Veterinary Medicine at Schaper & Brümmer GmbH & Co. KG from 1998 to 2007, focusing on pharmacology and toxicology related to the endocrinology and immunology of bioactive plant-derived substances. Thomas Nisslein holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a Board Certificate in Veterinary Virology from The University of Göttingen.
