Wim Oostra is the Director of Science & Technology at Abbott, where they lead a team of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Analytical Scientists, focusing on Drug Product commercial manufacturing. Previously, Wim held various positions including Technical Manager and Senior Technical Manager at Abbott, as well as leadership roles at Organon and Merck. Wim earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Particle Technology from Delft University of Technology. With a strong emphasis on technology transfers, troubleshooting, and process innovation, Wim utilizes data and science to address challenges effectively. Additionally, they are a member of the Eufeps PAT Steering Committee.
