Ahmad Sheikh

Ahmad Sheikh is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in research and leadership roles. Currently serving as the ACOS Distinguished Research Fellow and Global Head of Molecular Profiling and Drug Delivery at AbbVie since January 2013, Ahmad has held multiple leadership positions including Senior Director and Director of Solid State Chemistry. Previous experience includes board membership at the Enabling Technologies Consortium and significant roles at Abbott Labs, Pfizer Inc., Pharmacia Corporation, and The SEARLE Company Ltd. Ahmad holds a PhD and a First Class Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from UCL, completed in 1997 and 1994, respectively.
