Alan O'Dowd

Alan O'Dowd is an experienced professional in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance at AbbVie since September 2011. Prior roles include QA Site Lead for a sterile fill finish site and management positions such as European Quality Systems Manager and NPI Program Manager. Previously, Alan worked at Abbott as a QA Program Manager and QC Laboratory Manager, along with serving as a Quality Project Leader. Alan holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Science with Management from Ulster University.
