Andy Vo

Andy Vo is a Principal Research Scientist in Computational Toxicology at AbbVie since March 2019, specializing in the strategic leadership of cross-functional safety-related datasets and the development of predictive models to enhance preclinical safety evaluations. Prior to this role, Andy held various positions within AbbVie, including Senior Scientist II and Bioinformatician/Computational Toxicologist, focusing on artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for drug toxicity evaluations. Andy's earlier experience includes serving as a Scientist/Bioinformaticist at the University of Chicago, where the investigation of genetic landscapes in muscle and cardiac diseases was key, and as an Intermediate Research Technician at the University of Michigan, working on genetic modifiers of hematologic diseases. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and Statistics from the University of Michigan.
