Catherine Srebalus Barnes

Catherine Srebalus Barnes is a highly experienced professional in the field of analytical research and development within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President at AbbVie since April 2019, Catherine leads the global Analytical R&D organization, overseeing all CMC analytical activities for the development of pharmaceutical products. Prior to this role, Catherine held significant positions at Pfizer as Senior Director of Biosimilars Analytical R&D, at Hospira as Senior Director of Global Biologics - Analytical Sciences, and at Eli Lilly and Company, where roles included Director of Bioproduct Analytical Development and Director of Bioprocess Purification Development & Viral Safety. Catherine holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from West Virginia University.
