Daniel Bai

Daniel Bai is an AI and data science leader in biopharma, currently serving as the Director of AI Strategy & Operations at AbbVie since 2019. They develop and implement a company-wide AI strategy that integrates cutting-edge technologies with business and R&D goals while managing cross-functional AI projects. Previously, Daniel held roles such as Data Science Lead and Senior Data Science Manager at AbbVie and Amgen, respectively, where they drove the development of machine learning solutions for drug discovery and operational efficiency. Daniel also gained valuable experience as a Senior Scientist at Exelixis. They are currently pursuing an M.S. in Bioinformatics at the University of California, San Francisco.
