Darin Messina

Darin Messina currently serves as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Aesthetics R&D at AbbVie, a position held since May 2020, after previously holding the role of Vice President of R&D Devices at Allergan Aesthetics. Prior to AbbVie, Darin Messina worked at Allergan from January 2017 to April 2020, where titles included Vice President and Associate Vice President in Device Biology R&D. Darin Messina's tenure at Allergan, Inc. (2012-2016) encompassed roles such as Senior Director and Director of Research, with earlier positions in R&D at Allergan from 2010 to 2011 and Centocor Ortho-Biotech, part of Johnson & Johnson, from 2005 to 2010, including roles as Principal Scientist and Senior Research Scientist focused on stem cell research.
