Elisa Cerri

Elisa Cerri is an accomplished medical professional with significant experience in patient safety and oncology. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global Patient Safety at AbbVie since April 2022, Elisa has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Patient Safety - Oncology and Executive Medical Director for Early Development in Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety. Prior to AbbVie, Elisa worked at Abbott as Associate Medical Director for Oncology Clinical Development from April 2011 to December 2012. Additional experience includes an Honorary Clinical Fellow position at the UCL Cancer Institute from September 2009 to December 2010. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Università di Pisa and an Honorary Research Fellow designation from UCL.
