Florian Ries

Florian Ries is a highly motivated computational and process engineer with a strong passion for finding innovative solutions to technical problems using computational fluid dynamics and advanced data analysis techniques. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist II at AbbVie, they focus on process modeling and simulation of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Florian's previous roles include Postdoctoral Researcher and Principal Research Scientist, along with a background as a Project Engineer at Hochschule Mannheim and Research Associate at Technische Universität Darmstadt. They earned their PhD in Mechanical Engineering and hold a Master's degree in Computational Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt, alongside a Dipl.-Ing. in Chemical Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim.
