John Shanley

John Shanley is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and instrumentation, currently serving as a Senior Instrument Scientist I at AbbVie since January 2020. In this role, John creates and maintains innovative instrumentation to support internal research efforts. Prior experience includes positions as an Instrument Scientist II at AbbVie, a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Optimal Design, and a Graduate Research Assistant in the UIUC Tissue Biomechanics Lab, where research focused on rotator cuff injury mechanics.
