Katja Jantos

Katja Jantos is an experienced medicinal chemist with a strong background in neuroscience discovery research. Currently serving as Principal Research Scientist II at AbbVie since January 2013, Katja has led projects in R&D focusing on medicinal chemistry. Previously, Katja worked as a Lab Leader in Medicinal Chemistry at Abbott Laboratories from August 2008 to December 2012. Academic credentials include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge (2003-2007) and postdoctoral work in Total Synthesis at the University of Vienna (2007-2008). Earlier educational experiences include a diploma in Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg (1998-2002) and a research project as a Sokrates-Exchange student at the University of Cambridge.
