Keith Hamel is currently the Director and Senior Principal Research Scientist in Oncology Discovery Research at AbbVie, as well as a Scientist-in-Residence at AbbVie Ventures. Previously, Keith held several positions at AbbVie, including Principal Research Scientist II and Senior Scientist. Their academic background includes a Ph.D. in Immunology from Rush University and a BS in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University. Keith also completed postdoctoral fellowships at Rush University Medical Center and the University of Chicago, where they focused on B-cell development and molecular mechanisms in rheumatoid diseases.
