Kevin McLennan

Kevin McLennan is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the development of combination drug delivery products. Currently serving as a Sr. Principal Research Engineer at AbbVie since January 2015, Kevin has led mechanical engineering initiatives for drug/biologic-device development programs and spearheaded the mechanical design of next-generation ambulatory enteral pumps. Prior roles at Hospira included leading R&D mechanical engineering efforts on large volume infusion pumps and addressing critical component failures. Kevin's professional background also encompasses consulting for a European healthcare manufacturer and work at Motorola in mobile device design. Kevin holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
