Lutz Schlicht

Lutz Schlicht is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Vice President of Hepatology and Virology at AbbVie since June 2013. Prior to this role, Lutz held various leadership positions at Abbott Laboratories from January 1997 to June 2013, including Divisional Vice President of Dermatology and Virology, General Manager of Abbott Czech Republic, and Commercial Director for Europe. Lutz's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Colloid Chemistry and Theoretical Physics, and a Master's Degree in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Cologne. Lutz also attended J.G. Herder-Gymnasium in Cologne for high school.
