Mark Ekkela

Mark Ekkela is an accomplished IT professional with over two decades of experience in the technology sector. Since September 2012, Mark has served as the Associate IT Director for Central Services and Global Security Solutions at AbbVie, where responsibilities include leading IT for the Central Services operations, managing diverse business units, and ensuring site security and risk management. Prior to AbbVie, Mark spent over 13 years at Abbott in various roles, including IT Manager for the Business Intelligence Competency Center, where project management and operational oversight were key duties. Mark also gained early experience as an Information Technology Intern at Abbott. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
