Michael Montgomery

Michael Montgomery possesses extensive experience in intellectual property litigation and strategy, serving as Associate General Counsel at AbbVie from May 2021 to June 2024, where responsibilities included oversight of IP litigation and strategy. Prior to AbbVie, Montgomery worked as an Associate and Patent Agent at Fox Rothschild LLP from June 2014 to November 2017. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree with a Certificate in Intellectual Property & Technology Law, earned cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where Montgomery also served as Executive Editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and received multiple CALI Awards. Additionally, Montgomery holds a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University.
