Michelle Shields

Michelle Shields is a Global Quality Program Manager for Combination Products at AbbVie, a position held since 2016. Prior to this role, they worked at Pfizer as an R&D and Quality professional from 2015 to 2016 and spent four years at Hospira in various R&D and Quality roles from 2011 to 2015. Michelle began their career as a Research & Development Scientist at Abbott Laboratories from 1995 to 2000. They also shared their expertise as an adjunct faculty member at Moraine Valley Community College and the National University of Health Sciences in 2006 and 2007. Michelle holds a Master of Science degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
