Nicholas Donoghoe

As Senior Vice President, R&D Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Nicholas Donoghoe leads the operational and strategic advancement of AbbVie’s pipeline. He oversees Clinical Development Operations (CDO), Transformation/Innovation and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) to deliver remarkable therapies to the patients globally. Additionally, Dr. Donoghoe leads Search and Evaluation, Business Development and Acquisitions, Global Alliances and Corporate Strategy in the establishment of strategy and partnerships across the development continuum that will benefit patients and fuel scientific progress.

Dr. Donoghoe previously held leadership roles across R&D and Commercial, in both AbbVie’s Therapeutic and Aesthetic businesses. He was a partner at McKinsey & Co and has an M.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
