Padraic Byron has extensive experience in automation engineering and project management within the pharmaceutical industry, having worked at AbbVie since June 2013 in various roles, including Engineering Projects and Automation Manager, Biologics Engineering Manager, and Automation Engineering Manager. Padraic led key projects like the startup of a Biologics Sterile Fill Finish site and the management of fill line automation. Prior to AbbVie, Padraic spent nearly a decade at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included leading automation initiatives for syringe filling and ensuring the validation and maintenance of automated systems. Padraic's career began as a Calibration Technician at Lotus Automation, complemented by a strong educational background in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
