Pearson Bownas

Pearson Bownas serves as Vice President of Legal - Litigation, Compliance & Regulatory at AbbVie since January 2013, previously holding roles as Vice President & Associate General Counsel and Senior Counsel in Litigation. Prior to AbbVie, Pearson worked as Senior Counsel for Commercial Litigation at Abbott Laboratories from March 2011 to December 2012 and as an Attorney at Jones Day from 1997 to 2011. Additionally, Pearson has academic experience as an Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University, teaching Complex Litigation from 2009 to 2011. Pearson holds a J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a B.A. in English from Miami University.
