Vidya Maiya

Vidya Maiya, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Executive Medical Director at AbbVie, focusing on Safety Strategy oversight in late-stage Solid Tumor Oncology. Previously, Vidya held various positions at Genentech, including Senior Group Medical Director, where oversight of Safety Strategy for multiple oncology portfolios was a primary role. Additional experience includes leadership roles in drug safety and clinical practice, with early career roles in pediatric intensive care. Vidya holds an MD in Pediatrics and an MBA from San Jose State University, complemented by an MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
