Xinge Wang

Xinge Wang is a highly skilled bioinformatics professional with extensive experience in research and analysis. Notable achievements include receiving a Silver Medal at the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition and serving as a Summer Intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where a network-based approach to pediatric diseases and functional genomics screening was developed. Xinge Wang has also participated in Illumina's iAspire internship program and contributed as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Bioinformatics Analyst III at AbbVie in the Greater Chicago Area, Xinge Wang holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, along with a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from Fudan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from Tianjin University.
