Petrut Lixandru

Petrut Lixandru has extensive work experience in the banking industry, primarily focusing on digital channels and transformation. Petrut started their career at Alpha Bank in 2008, holding roles such as Internet Banking Officer and Senior Product Manager (e-services). In these positions, they played a key role in developing and managing various electronic services, including online banking, mobile banking, and utility payments. Petrut also worked on implementing new features and authentication mechanisms for online banking applications.

In 2014, Petrut joined Fair Value as a SAP Business Intelligence Consultant, where they provided technical consulting and developed reports for customers using SAP BI solutions. Petrut also participated in projects to implement business intelligence solutions for top Romanian production industry clients and a multinational oil company.

Petrut returned to the banking sector in 2015, joining Alpha Bank Romania as the Head of Internet Banking and Customer Support. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating the strategy and business development for internet and mobile banking, e-statements, SMS alerts, automated payments, and utility bill payments. Petrut also managed the contact center for customer support and internal telemarketing. During their time at Alpha Bank Romania, they successfully launched new services such as SMS alerts for transactions and events.

Most recently, Petrut worked at BCR as the Head of Digital Distribution Channels, overseeing digital transformation and business development. Petrut held the additional role of Product Owner and Supervisor of Digital Transformation. Petrut'sachievements at BCR include implementing a new online banking solution (internet and mobile banking) and launching the bank's new website.

Throughout their career, Petrut has demonstrated their expertise in digital channels, business development, product management, and project implementation.

Petrut Lixandru attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued studies in Information Technology. Petrut obtained a degree during this period is not specified. Petrut Lixandru also holds additional certifications, including "Oxford Cyber Security for Business Leaders" from the University of Oxford, which was obtained in March 2022, and "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" from the Scrum Alliance, which was obtained in June 2020.
