Maxime Vermeir

Maxime Vermeir has a strong background in various roles in the technology industry. Maxime started their career as an Intern iPhone Development at Oxynade in 2011. Then, they worked as a Sales Representative at Expert AS from 2009 to 2012. In 2011, they joined Docbyte as a Presales Consultant, where they provided consultancy and presales consultancy for ECM Solutions. In 2012, they co-founded Me and My App, where they played a vital role in determining the company's direction and designing and implementing mobile app platforms. In 2016, they founded 402 Solutions and served as its Founder until 2019. Vermeir joined ABBYY in 2016 as a Solution Architect and later advanced to the position of Senior Solutions Architect. Maxime then moved on to become the Head of Customer Innovation and Director of Customer Innovation before taking on the role of Senior Director of AI Strategy, where they lead the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy for ABBYY's cutting-edge AI/ML technology. Maxime also served as the Senior Director of Product Ecosystem & Engagement, responsible for the product management strategy of the ABBYY Ecosystem.

Maxime Vermeir obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Networking Technology from Odisee, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they hold several certifications in various fields, including Career Essentials in Generative AI by Microsoft and LinkedIn from Microsoft (obtained in 2023), Design Thinking for Innovation from Coursera (obtained in 2020), and Certified Capture Consultant from ABBYY (obtained in 2016), among others.
