Tony Connell has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tony started their career as a Senior Programmer Analyst at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they implemented and supported a hospital-wide document imaging system. Tony then joined Captiva Software Corporation as a Senior Project Engineer, providing professional services and managing custom application projects for various clients. After Captiva was acquired by EMC, Tony became a Senior Consultant within EMC's Professional Services group.

In these roles, they provided technical demonstrations, product selection and information for ABBYY customers, oversaw product trials and proof of concept projects, and assisted with Professional Services requirements gathering and engagement tracking.

Tony Connell obtained a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Westford Academy in Westford, MA from 1980 to 1984 with a focus on business. Tony also holds certifications such as AIIM SharePoint Specialist, AIIM SharePoint Practitioner, EMC Proven Professional for Captiva Installation, Configuration, and Management, and CDIA+ (Certified Document Imaging Architect).
