Jeffrey McRoberts

Jeffrey McRoberts is a seasoned lighting designer and director with extensive experience in broadcast and live events. Currently serving as a Lighting Camera Operator at ABC News since October 2014, McRoberts has also held the position of Lighting Director for various high-profile programs including Good Morning America, 20/20, and special reports with Diane Sawyer. An independent contractor since 1980, McRoberts has provided lighting design for a diverse range of performances and events, including off-Broadway theater, awards shows, and corporate events. Notable past roles include Lighting Director for ESPN SportsCenter and NBC's Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. McRoberts is also a former owner and operator of Drinker's Creek Holdings. Educational credentials include a BA from Iowa State University and fellowship training in stage design from Polakov's Studio & Forum of Stage Design.
