Riddhi Sarkar

Riddhi Sarkar is an experienced journalist with a strong background in news production and research, currently serving as an Anchor Assistant at ABC News' "World News Tonight with David Muir" since September 2019. Riddhi has previously held roles including Production Assistant and Digital News Associate within the same program, contributing significantly through editorial research, script updates, and digital storytelling. Additional experience includes internships with major news outlets such as CNN, NBCUniversal, and AFP, as well as a position as a Citizen Historian with The 1947 Partition Archive, conducting interviews and documenting historical narratives. Riddhi holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Journalism from American University.
