Karen Alko is an experienced professional in community relations and social responsibility, currently serving as the Manager of Community Relations at ABC Recycling since February 1999, where responsibilities include overseeing donations and charitable campaigns. Previously, Karen held a brief role as a Campaign Associate at United Way of the Lower Mainland in 2015 and worked as a Marketing Assistant at the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts from 1996 to 1998. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology from The University of British Columbia, and participation in an International Study Abroad Program at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
