Cara Freund

Cara Freund, SPHR, SHRM - SCP, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in organizational development and HR project management. Currently serving as the Human Resources Project Manager at ABC Supply Co. Inc. since July 2023, Cara leads operational and transformational initiatives across HR, ensuring effective execution and communication. Previously, Cara worked at Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois in roles such as Senior Organizational Development Specialist and Senior Performance Development Specialist, successfully implementing strategies and managing major projects like the merger of learning management systems. Additional experience includes advising on workforce planning at DXC Technology and a range of HR functions at CSC. Cara holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rockford University.
