Amy Hashemi

Amy Hashemi is an experienced Automation Engineer currently employed at AbCellera since July 2022. Previously, Amy worked as a Development Engineer at MKS Instruments from August 2020 to June 2022, leading multidisciplinary engineering teams through product development cycles from concept to production release. Amy's background includes a software engineering internship at Tesla, focusing on automating data processes for service engineering, and a Maintenance Planning Co-op role at Neptune Bulk Terminals Ltd., overseeing work order documentation. Earlier experience includes positions as an Industrial Engineering Technologist at the Department of National Defence and various customer service roles. Amy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, along with advanced and diploma qualifications in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Camosun College.
