Olivia de Goede is an experienced data scientist currently working at AbCellera since December 2022. Prior to this role, Olivia served as a data scientist with the BC Ministry of Health from September 2021 to September 2022, where responsibilities included promoting open science and ensuring data quality and security within health data analysis. Olivia contributed to the Health Data Platform British Columbia, facilitating research by integrating and anonymizing health data from various sources. Olivia's academic background includes a PhD in Genetics from Stanford University School of Medicine (2016-2021), where research focused on long non-coding RNA genes, as well as a Master's degree in Medical Genetics from the University of British Columbia (2013-2016), studying epigenetic profiles in newborn immune cells. Olivia also holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Biology from the University of Victoria (2009-2013).
