Kubra Karagoz

Kubra Karagoz, PhD, currently serves as the Data Scientist Lead in Translational Data Science at Genmab since October 2022. Prior to this role, Karagoz was a Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics-R&D at Sema4, focusing on actionable genomic alterations in a pan-cancer clinical-genomics database. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral position at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where the research centered on resistance mechanisms in multiple myeloma, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, investigating oncogenic signaling in breast and ovarian cancers through proteogenomic analysis. Academic foundations include a PhD in Bioengineering from Marmara University and a Master's in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University. Additional research roles included investigations in triple-negative breast cancer pathways and molecular mechanisms of selenium biology at various institutions.
