Håkon Laugsand

Håkon Laugsand is the Chief Operating Officer at ABEL and a co-founder and Head of Training at ABEL Technologies AS. They previously served as Chief Strategy Officer at ABEL Technologies AS from 2017 to 2025. They are a former DII college athlete at California State Los Angeles and have a broad background in training and health, including roles as an internship Strength and Conditioning Coach at Cal State LA (2017–2018), Head Soccer Coach for Røa IL academy (2014–2015), and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for Duffy Golf Fitness (2018–2020). They hold two master’s degrees—in Strength & Conditioning from St Mary’s University, Twickenham (2018–2020) and in Physical Performance from the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (2019–2021)—and are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Cal State LA College of ECST.
