Mikita Labanok

Mikita Labanok is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the media and technology sectors. Currently serving as the CEO and Executive Producer at Abelana VR Productions since September 2016, Mikita oversees all aspects of virtual reality project management, focusing on innovative VR and 5G projects in education. Prior to this role, Mikita held significant positions at Penguin Random House as VP of Intellectual Property Development and Partnerships, and Bertelsmann, Inc. in business development, where strategic projects across various international locations were managed. Earlier experience includes serving as Development Director and Producer at Internews Network, where Mikita operated in high-stakes environments. Mikita began a career in media as a TV Reporter and Head of Foreign Relations at FIT TV, the largest private TV company in Belarus, and also served as a platoon leader in the military. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BS in International Business from Belarusian State Economic University.
