Andrew Nowak has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and camera operations. Andrew started their career at HotCam Broadcast Equipment and Crew Rental NYC as a Rental Manager, where they managed and coordinated equipment for various clients. After that, they worked at Leopard USA as a Director of Photography for a considerable length of time. Andrew then joined ITV as a Technical Supervisor, responsible for building and managing video village for reality competition shows. Following this, they worked at Condé Nast Entertainment as a Camera Operator, before joining TED Conferences as a Video Engineer, where they managed and rigged robotic and digital cinema cameras. During their time at TED Conferences, they also gained experience in troubleshooting signal flow and QC of slide decks. Later on, they worked at Camera Dude Inc. as a Director of Photography, Technical Supervisor, and Editor. Andrew also freelanced for TV BOY, LLC, working on various roles related to camera operation and technical directing. More recently, they worked as a Camera Operator at North South Productions and as a Director of Photography at Original Productions. Currently, they are working at AbelCine as a Video Engineer.
Andrew Nowak received their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Production from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In 2006, they attended the Maine Media Workshops at Rockport for a one-week intensive Camera Assistant Class.
