Helge Holm

Helge Holm has a diverse work experience spanning over a period of more than 20 years. Helge began their career as a Fax Monkey at Hydro Seafood in 1999 and later worked as an E-tjenestemann at Det Akademiske Kvarter, where they performed Linux system administration tasks and had fun exploring old hardware. In 2002, they joined Marine Harvest as a Fax Monkey and was responsible for data entry, logistics coordination, document processing, and invoicing.

In 2004, Helge founded their own company, Orasus DA, which they operated until 2006. Following this, they joined Vizrt as a System Developer in 2005, where they focused on systems programming, desktop application development, and protocol design and implementation. Helge continued working at Vizrt until 2011.

In 2011, Helge joined BRIK Teknologier AS as a Teknisk Utvikler, where they served as a system administrator for physical hardware and cloud clusters and created and maintained ASP.Net websites. In 2015, they moved to Bouvet and worked as a Consultant until 2017.

Returning to Vizrt in 2018, Helge took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead until 2020. Helge then transitioned to the role of R&D Manager, where they were in charge of hiring, managing, and leading a team while bringing a product with a 20-year history into the HTML future. Helge also played a significant role in product management.

Most recently, in 2022, Helge joined Abelee as a Senior Software Engineer, where they continue to apply their expertise.

Helge Holm attended the University of Bergen (UiB) from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in informatics.
