Hillyer Parker

Mr. Parker recently joined Abelian Partners as a Senior Manager, responsible for project execution, client relationships and banking subject matter expertise. Mr. Parker has served in various roles as a banking consultant for credit risk, commercial real estate, and real property valuation. Prior to this role, Mr. Parker was a Senior Director at Alvarez and Marsal focused primarily on banking and real estate. At Alvarez and Marsal he was specifically engaged on loan workouts, credit policy support, regulatory matters, and litigation testimony tied to the 2008 financial crisis. His deep practitioner expertise around bank advisory as a consultant includes experience with banks and financial firms at the community, regional, and global level. He has published papers for the American Bankers Association and provided expert witness litigation support in a number of matters in both Federal and State courts. Mr. Parker also has experience in the technology space, having co-developed a cloud-based market analytics and risk screening application to pre-identify risk metrics within CRE loan portfolios. Mr. Parker began his commercial banking career at Capital One, where he served as a relationship manager in New Orleans, LA. He also assisted in developing a de novo CRE loan production office for Washington Mutual in Atlanta, GA, prior to the 2008 financial crisis.

Mr. Parker holds a BS degree in Finance & International Economics from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member CCIM designee.
