Manuela Borella

Manuela Borella serves as Vice President of Global Plant-Based Strategy & Business Acceleration and Vice President of Plant-Based Acceleration for Specialised Nutrition at Danone since March 2020. In addition to this role, Manuela Borella is the President of the CSR Committee and a Board Member at ABÉO since June 2020. Previously, from January 2016 to March 2020, Manuela Borella was the General Manager of the Manifesto Innovation Accelerator, where one of the first multinational internal accelerators was founded to enhance Danone's competitive edge. Manuela Borella's extensive tenure at Danone from November 2000 to December 2016 included several pivotal roles, including Director of Danone 2020, ExCom Chief of Staff, and Director of Company Strategy. Manuela Borella's early career featured positions at Henkel as Assistant Product Manager after earning a Master's degree in Political Economics from Università Bocconi and participating in an Erasmus program at the University of Bergen, specializing in Political Economy.
