Edwin Leemans

Edwin Leemans is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the cable industry and various engineering roles. Since May 1996, Edwin has served as the Owner of LEE Mech/elec cc, focusing on designing new machines for the cable sector. Additionally, since December 2017, Edwin has worked as a Technical Skills Facilitator at Samancor Chrome, and has been a Project Engineer at Aberdare Cables since October 2009, where responsibilities include managing the relocation of cable manufacturing machinery and upgrading control systems. Past experience includes a directorial role at the RSRI from 2012 to 2013, where the focus was on the research related to the Rome Statute. Earlier work experience includes a position as a Systems Integrator at A.T.C Pty. Ltd. Edwin's education encompasses degrees in Electronics and Electrical from Pretoria West Technical College and Wits Technicon, along with training in MS Word and Excel from Bytes Technologies. In addition to professional endeavors, hobbies include crocodile and cattle farming.
