Jim Uhrman

Jim Uhrman has over 30 years of experience in leadership and engineering positions. Jim started their career at Ford Motor Company in 1989 as a Product Engineer and worked their way up to becoming a Manager of Product Engineering before leaving in 2006. During their time there, they were responsible for reducing warranty costs, restructuring purchased components, and leading design engineers in various areas.

After leaving Ford, they held senior leadership positions at Avaya, Covidien, and NACCO Materials Handling Group, where they implemented continuous improvement programs, managed process engineering departments, and oversaw warranty reductions.

Most recently, they worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at TWG, A Dover Company, where they were responsible for all aspects of Tulsa Winch Engineering and as the Total Value Management at Ford Motor Company, where they were responsible for operational excellence activities.

In 2022, Uhrman will take on a new role as the Director of Engineering and Quality at Aberdeen Dynamics.

Jim Uhrman attended The University of Toledo from 1982 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2011, they obtained a Lean Leader certification from Covidien Healthcare. No other education or certification information is provided.
