Angela Hill

Head of Marketing & Communications at Aberdeen Sports Village

Angela Hill has had a long and varied career in marketing and communications. Angela began their career in 2001 working as a Marketing & Participation Officer for Corporate Games in Ireland. In the same year, they also worked as an Internal Sales Administrator for Hunting Oilfield Services International. In 2003, they joined GE Oil & Gas (Vetco Gray) as an Internal Sales Co-Coordinator and was promoted to Senior Internal Sales Co-Coordinator and then Project Manager. In 2007, they returned to Derrick Services (UK) Limited - DSL as a Proposals Manager. In 2008, they worked as an Internal Sales & Marketing Manager for AKD Engineering and as Sales & Marketing for Aquaterra Energy Ltd. In 2010, they returned to DSL as a Marketing Manager. In 2011, they were a Business Development Manager for 3sun. In 2012, they joined Nalco Champion - An Ecolab Company as a Marketing Manager Eastern Hemisphere. In 2015, they began working at Aberdeen Sports Village as a Marketing and Communications Manager, and was later promoted to Head of Marketing & Communications. In this role, they were responsible for the management of the marketing and communications activity for ASV, including the delivery and execution of the company strategy, ensuring all marketing deliverables are met, matrix management reporting, and working closely with team managers to ensure overall company goals are met.

Angela Hill attended Robert Gordon University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Business Studies degree and a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Studies from the Aberdeen Business School.
