Alejandro Alonso Arcocha

Alejandro Alonso Arcocha is the Chief Operating Officer at RCO, an Abertis company, since April 2021, overseeing operations in Mexico and managing a network of over 900 km of highways. Prior to this role, Alejandro served as Director General de Concesiones for Mota-Engil México from January 2014 to April 2021 and held the position of Director General at Concesionaria Copexa, focusing on the Perote-Banderilla and Xalapa bypass projects from 2008 to 2013. Alejandro's earlier experience includes managerial roles in construction for Grupo OHL and the Government of the State of Puebla, where responsibilities spanned project development and infrastructure maintenance. Alejandro holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla and has completed various executive education programs, including the Abertis Talent Development Program at IESE Business School and the Strategic Management Program at Kellogg Executive Education.
