Shankar Murukutla

Shankar Murukutla has over 30 years of work experience, beginning in 1987. Shankar started as an MS Specialist at ICIM, then moved to EMC Computer Systems in 1997, where they were a Sales Director. In 2007, they became the Vice President Services Asia Pacific Japan at COPAN Systems. In 2009, they were the Manager Director - Emerging Markets at Data Domain. In 2010, they became the Managing Director, South East Asia, Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC Computer Systems. In 2012, they were the Vice President Solutions & Services Asia Pacific Japan at Violin Memory. In 2013, they were the Managing Director GCR, SEA & India at Actifio. In 2014, they were the Regional Sales Director South Asia, India at MapR Technologies. In 2016, they retired and has been enjoying time with family since then. In 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Abhay Solutions Inc.

Shankar Murukutla received an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Surrey between 1999 and 2001. Shankar also attended IMD in 1999, but did not receive a degree. In addition, they obtained a certification in American Contract Law I from Yale University in January 2019 and a Targeted Selection Interviewer certification from DDI | Development Dimensions International in July 1999.
