Maryam Farooq

Maryam Farooq has a wide range of work experience. Maryam began their career in 2002 as a Junior Girl Guide, Girl Guide, Senior Girl Guide, and Master Trainer for the Pakistan Girl Guides Association. In 2012, they joined the Bunyad Literacy Community Council as the Head of Youth Wing, Trainer, and Social Mobilizer. In 2014, they began working for HBL - Habib Bank Limited as an Assistant Manager, Team Leader for the Transaction Banking - Corporate & Investment Banking Group. In 2019, they joined Bank Alfalah Limited as Manager - Solution Delivery & Implementation/sales- North & Central Region - CIBG & IB. Most recently, in 2022 they began working for Abhi (YC S21) as a Business Development Manager.

Maryam Farooq completed their Masters in English from the University of the Punjab in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the same university in 2014.
