Karen Bohlin is a seasoned educator and researcher currently serving as a Research Affiliate of the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University since May 2023. As the Director of the Practical Wisdom Project at the Abigail Adams Institute since September 2021, Karen also holds the position of Senior Scholar at Boston University, where contributions span roles such as Director and Assistant Professor within the Center for the Advancement of Ethics & Character. Previous leadership experience includes Head of School at Montrose School from August 2003 to July 2021, along with a Visiting Fellowship at The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues in early 2015. Karen Bohlin earned a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University, complemented by a Master’s in English Language and Language Arts Education and a Bachelor’s in English and Secondary Education from Boston College.
