Josue Zarate

Josue Zarate has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. Josue currently holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at Abilia Inmobiliaria since February 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at SURA Asset Management as the Regional Head Real Estate Investments from November 2019 to January 2020, and as the Director Real Estate - Investments Mexico from April 2019 to November 2019. Before joining SURA, Josue worked at VEX Capital as the Director of Investments and Asset Management from November 2017 to April 2019. Josue also served as the Vice President at O'Connor Capital Partners from March 2016 to October 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions in Mexico Retail Properties, Equity International, Mexico Retail Properties, and Prudential Real Estate Investors, where they gained experience in planning and development, financial analysis, portfolio management, and asset management.

Josue Zarate completed a Master of Science degree in Real Estate (Finance and Investments) from New York University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, between 2002 and 2007.
